Booking website analytics in the dashboard
View visits, checkouts, bookings, conversion, and more reliable traffic sources for your booking website directly in Buchung.
Your booking website is often where interest turns into a booking. That is why we added a first analytics overview to the dashboard.
Now you can see not only how many bookings come in, but also what happens before that.
Funnel from visit to booking#
Under Booking website -> Analytics, you now see a funnel overview with the most important steps:
- Visits to your booking website.
- Checkouts that were started.
- Bookings that were completed.
- Conversion rate from visit to booking.
The dashboard overview page also has a compact tile, so you can quickly see how the booking website is performing.
Sources and popular pages#
Besides the funnel, we show which parts of your booking website get attention.
You can view, among other things:
- Where visitors come from, for example direct, through search engines, ads, or email.
- Which activities are popular.
- Which pages are visited most.
- Which devices and browsers are used.
- Whether there is a lot of bot traffic.
That makes it easier to see where people drop off, which activities get interest, and which marketing channels bring traffic.
More reliable booking sources#
We also improved how Buchung recognizes traffic from ads, search engines, email, and payment routes.
As a result, fewer bookings are incorrectly counted as direct traffic. A booking from an ad, newsletter, or search engine means something different from someone opening your booking website directly, and you want to be able to use that information as well as possible.
Metrics stay visible per section#
The analytics page is built from separate sections. If one section temporarily cannot load data, the rest of the page remains usable.
If one report temporarily shows no data, the other metrics remain visible.
