Reuse documents across multiple events

Upload documents as reusable files, link them to multiple events, and replace the file without losing existing links.

Many documents do not belong to a single event. Think of packing lists, information letters, house rules, or directions that apply to multiple camps or courses.

That is why we made document management for events more flexible.

Reuse existing documents#

On an event's documents page, you can now link an existing document to the current event.

You can also link a document to multiple events at once. That is useful when the same information applies to a whole series.

You can see more clearly:

  • Whether a document is visible to customers for the current event.
  • How many events the document is linked to.
  • When the document was last updated.

Replace a file without reconnecting everything#

Sometimes only the contents of a document change, not the document itself. For example, an information letter with a new date or updated instructions.

You can now replace the file behind an existing document. The title, links, and references stay intact, while guests get the new version.

That prevents you from uploading the same document again and then linking it everywhere again.

Clearer distinction between documents and media#

The document overview remains intended for practical files guests need around an event, such as PDFs, packing lists, and information letters. Images and videos are managed separately.
