Send check-in reminders from an event
Create a reminder email from an event for registrations that have not completed online check-in yet.
Online check-in works best when participants fill in their information on time. But shortly before an event, there are often still people who have not done that yet.
That is why you can now prepare a check-in reminder from an event.
Start a reminder from the event#
On the event page, you will find an action to create a check-in reminder.
Buchung then prepares a draft message for registrations that have not completed online check-in yet. You do not have to manually collect that audience.
After that, you can:
- Check the content before sending.
- View the audience.
- See how many messages are being prepared.
- Send the message through the same communication steps as other messages.
The right language per recipient#
The reminder uses the existing email templates, but is prepared in the right language per recipient when that information is available.
That is especially useful for organizations working with Dutch and English participants. You do not have to create separate reminders per language yourself.
Built on the same communication steps#
A check-in reminder is not a separate exception next to the rest of Buchung. It is a message for a concrete booking moment, with a prefilled audience.
That lets you use the same steps for content, audience, check, and sending.
